When giving advantage there are two important factors to bear in mind
a)It is important to be satisfied that the player who has come through a foul tackle is enjoying reasonable possession,is in control and is well balanced to resist the next challenge.
b)It is important when you give advantage to ensure that the two players,especially the offended one,and the rest of the players,are made aware by your word of mouth and appropriate hand signal that you are doing so.And a referee should watch that when the attacking player has finished his run,he doesn't turn around to retaliate for the initial foul.
